stop waiting for friday

Stop waiting for Fridays to go out, to take care of yourself, to let go of the stress and focus on fun, to see someone you have been wanting to see all week, to take a walk, to take a long shower.

Don’t let your work, the stressful and bad moments (minutes only sometimes) ruin all week and make you lose sight of life until Friday, until the weekend, until work finishes. Do not let it have that effect on you.

Stop waiting for that trip to have fun or rest, stop waiting for that date to put on a cute outfit and leave the house. Do that every day. Have fun every day. Make yourself look cute every day. Love yourself every day.

Make sure you take the time and effort to make sure you are okay. Do not wait for the day you can not leave the bed to be happy. Make sure you are happy now. Make sure you are at least trying to be happy now. The happiness will come. Give yourself time to heal, cure, and be happy.

Learn to love solitude. Do not let yourself pity or feel good in loneliness. Enjoy your own company. And learn to have and be glad for solitude. For your time alone, do something for yourself. And learn to be happy and have contentment with life.

Learn to say no. don’t wait for the day that you can only say no to everything because all the ‘yes’s have burned you out. Don’t wait for the day that you are the loneliest ever to look for help and love from friends.

Fall in love with the little things. Do not wait for the day you lose everything or someone to look at the sky, appreciate the sunset, gaze at the stars, listen to the birds singing and the ocean waves crashing, wave at the plane, and take a picture of yourself.

Do enjoy the simple things in life, so you can enjoy the big ones and be humble in/with them. Remember life is made from the little things, not the big ones. 

Stop waiting for Fridays to be happy. Stop waiting for Fridays to feel good. Stop waiting for Fridays to be yourself.
